Mariners Physical Therapy is proudly associated with numerous organizations in Orange County and Southern California. Some of our affiliations include:

• The Performing Arts Center, Costa Mesa
  Mariners works on site with many of the elite dance companies and musical programs performed at the PAC including the Kirov Ballet, The Paris Ballet, the American Ballet Theater, musical productions including Cats, The Lion King and 42nd Street.
• Clinical Research
  Mariners is currently involved in a large, multi-site research project being conducted through the University of Southern California, Northwestern University, Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, Southwest Missouri State University, and the University of California at Los Angeles.

  Mariners will be contributing in the MUSSEL (Muscle-Specific Strengthening Effectiveness Post Lumbar Microdiscectomy) segment of this research project examining muscle specific strength training effectiveness following a single level lumbar microdiscetomy surgical procedure. Areas that MUSSEL will assess include changes in function, pain and disability reduction.

• The Newport Aquatic Center
  Mariners provides therapy services to the rowers of the Newport Aquatic Center, a nationally recognized rowing program. Mariners is also involved in NAC’s program development for strength and conditioning as well as injury prevention.

• Internship Program
  Mariners is a formal internship site for graduate students of physical therapy from the University of Southern California, Loma Linda University, Mount St. Mary's College and California State University, Long Beach.
• Newport Equestrian Center, Newport Beach, CA
  Direct patient care for the riders and jumpers at the Newport Equestrian Center.
